Spectrum Metal Finishing, Inc has been a major force in the metal coatings industry since 1993, and is located in Youngstown, Ohio, the birthplace of the aluminum extrusion industry.  Our facilities and capabilities are unique within a 500 mile radius, but our products are shipped to customers and jobsites throughout the United States, Eastern Canada…and even the Pacific Rim, as well as the Caribbean!  We are located just off the easternmost exits of the Ohio Turnpike (16 and 16A).  One hour from Cleveland or Pittsburgh.
Liquid
Keeping up with the latest technologies, such as our Turbo Bell equipment, allows coating your materials efficiently, while adhering to a strict quality standard.  Over the duration of a project, this will cut your costs significantly.  All throughout our process, the metal moves through the shop, utilizing a fully automated conveyor from primer to paint to packaging.  On-line inspection stations allow us to fully integrate trained personnel with the best technology, meeting all AAMA specifications.  With the state of the art application available on our line, we produce the best work that integrating human and electronics can offer.
Powder
Our powder line is equally efficient with a fully automatic, electrostatic powder equipment enclosed in an environmentally friendly “clean-room.”  The components are coated in the most cost effective way possible with an application efficiency of 98%.  Inside the Shop, you can take a tour and see actual production pictures from both lines.
Planning
The materials we finish are meticulously tracked, labeled, and packaged to arrive at the jobsite in a consistent order.  We’re comfortable dealing with hundreds, if not, thousands of parts for each project.  This attention to detail has become a staple of our business, and reputation.  Our continuous line process allows us to do this as efficiently as possible. All in-coming material is tracked and compared to the packing list for any discrepancies and if any problems arise we contact the customer immediately.  As the architectural community evolves, buildings are becoming more complex both in the idea of giving character to the structure and adhering to environmental laws.  We are happy to have worked on some amazing structures.  Be sure to check out our Job Gallery.
