LIQUID FINISHING LINE Our shop was specifically designed to handle all architectural aluminum projects. Our part package measures up to 33’ long, 72” high and 30” deep. We apply materials in a wet-on-wet-on-wet process. This process bonds the finish to the metal as one solid paint film. Multiple stage finishing makes the metal more prone to inter-coat adhesion problems. Innovations like this ensure that our work is built to last. POWDER COATING LINE Spectrum Metal Finishing’s innovative powder application process utilizes and electrostatic charge to ensure that all material is evenly coated. Spectrum’s environmentally friendly process recycles unused powder reducing cost and waste. Spectrum has pushed hard to work with the architects to specify powder working closely with the U.S. Green Building Council. Using powder contributes to an environmentally safe, sustainable building components being specified by a growing number of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) projects across North America. |
